About Us

LIFEWS — Lichipu Foundation for Food, Energy & Water Sustainability — is a registered non-profit organization in Nigeria (CAC RC 7664775). We work at the intersection of food systems, renewable energy, water sustainability, education, and community development, with a strong focus on applied solutions and collaboration.
Our work brings together professionals, volunteers, researchers, consultants, staff, and partners who are committed to practical impact across Africa.

Our Story: From Vision to Impact

LIFEWS Foundation was founded on a simple conviction — that sustainability must be ethical, inclusive, and practical. What began as a small initiative linking food, energy, and water systems has grown into a movement shaping innovation and community development across Africa.
We bring together researchers, educators, farmers, and youth to transform knowledge into real-world solutions — from solar-powered schools and agrivoltaic farms to climate-smart learning hubs and youth innovation programs.
Our story continues — one community, one innovation, and one act of hope at a time.

Our Guiding Philosophy

LIFEWS is driven by LICHIPU, a philosophy developed by founder, rooted in collective action — “let us do it together.”
We believe meaningful change happens when knowledge, skills, and responsibility are shared across disciplines and institutions.

We design solutions that drive real impact

Through its four pillars—AgriShine, AgriNext, AgriAble, and AgriRoot—LIFEWS designs scalable models and solutions that deliver measurable impact across schools and communities.
